Can I install Script Modifications (MODs) in The Sims 4™?

The changes known as MODs were foreseen and approved by the game developer, however leaving a warning that the execution of the same is the user's responsibility, since some can cause gradual errors in the game. To install MODs, simply take the file  “*.package” to the destination “Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/”.

Generally speaking, we can say that custom content called CPS, or CC (from Custom Content in English), are tangible items that are usually cosmetic, such as hair, clothes, furniture , pictures, shoes and etc; on the other hand, Mods are modifications to the script of The Sims 4 that change the way the game behaves.
